Summary
Loubet et al. (2013) described a method to adapt water deprivation indicators at sub river basin (SRB) scale while considering the deprivation effect on downstream SRB’s (cascading effect).
Maps provided here are based on the SRB delimitation described with Pfafstetter classification. Maps are given for 3 indicators, modified with cascading effect:
- CTA, the Consumption to Availability ratio (Loubet et al., 2013a),
- WSI, the Water Stress Index (Pfister and Bayer, 2014) and
- AWARE, the Available WAter Remaining indicator (Boulay et al., 2017).
CTA was computed at the world level at yearly and monthly time-scales. WSI and AWARE indicators were adjusted to fit with the SRB description.
Maps are given for two time scales – year and month – with 2 file types: ESRI files (shp) and Google Earth (kmz).
